Rabies Titer Clinics
at Gordon Wildlife
Every other year Gordon Wildlife offers a free blood draw clinic to wildlife rehabilitators and their volunteers around the state to check their rabies titer levels.
In order to work with skunks, bats and raccoons, the animals which New York State defines as Rabies Vector Species (RVS), rehabilitators must receive pre-exposure vaccinations against rabies.
DEC licensing requires that proof of an acceptable vaccination titer level be submitted every 2 years.

Please contact us to sign up for an appointment spot. Once you have received verification from us that you are pre-registered, you will need to download this form, fill it out and bring it with you to your appointment.
Note: you must have been previously vaccinated in order to have a titer response. If you are in need of your initial series of vaccines, they may be ordered at Passport Health Travel Clinics around the state https://www.passporthealthusa.com/ or anywhere travel vaccines are offered. As per state regulations, rehabilitators are responsible for the cost of vaccination.
